About this Program

Adopt a safe and inclusive medical practice/practitioner approach for LGBTIQ patients.

Many health professionals desire to practice inclusively with using the right terminology and being supportive of sexual and gender diversity, however, many don’t feel that they have the knowledge or skills to do this.

Understanding LGBTIQ increases your confidence in engaging with LGBTIQ patients so you can adopt a safe and inclusive medical practice/practitioner approach.

Understand the different presentations of sexual orientation and biological sex and gender, and the health impacts and discrimination LGBTIQ communities face, so you can work with patients to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes.
